GET TO KNOW YOURSELF IN EVERYDAY WORK LIFE
We mean it: as a working student, as part of a thesis or an internship, you will be part of the team, working on projects and supported by experienced engineers. This will allow you to gain practical experience alongside your studies, with performance-based remuneration and flexible working hours.
If you are studying civil engineering, environmental engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, we offer you the opportunity to put yourself to the test in a professional context. After graduating, you will be ready to consciously shape your career.
Our locations in Essen, Coesfeld, Berlin, Darmstadt, and Wiesbaden offer you a wide range of challenges and great experiences. And one more thing: if you impress us during your time with us, you have a very good chance of being hired and offered a permanent position.
YOUR OPTIONS
Working Student
Want to start working on your professional career while you study? The easiest way to do this is as a working student in a field that allows you to put your academic knowledge directly into practice. We will integrate you and your expertise into our daily tasks, allowing you to become part of the team and make a real contribution to water management projects. Challenges included – because where expertise is lacking, on-the-job training comes into play.
Final thesis (bachelor's or master's thesis)
As a working student or student assistant at DAHLEM, you also have the opportunity to write your thesis at the same time. Your supervisor will help you find a topic so that your work adds real value to your field of study. This will give you an edge on your resume.
Internship during studies
An internship with us lasts at least 6 weeks – although longer is welcome. This gives you a real chance to familiarize yourself with the work and get to know all aspects of everyday project work. Maybe you'll like it here and decide to stay on as a working student after your internship.
